You only live once, so make it count!

So here I am again! On May 14th I will run the Bucharest Half Marathon for the 4th time, joining Hospice team to support the gift of life.
I love this race, what it represents, and the community support. I will come back every year until it is physically impossible to do so. I don’t consider myself a fast runner, but I keep running no matter how long it takes. In the end, it's the journey that matters.
With the support of Team Hospice, people affected by cancer stand the very best chance of remission and if that isn’t possible they are cared for in an environment which maintains their pride and dignity.
This is a cause very close to my heart, so that’s why I’m asking you to show your support and donate what you can to this charity. Any little help coming from you means life and hope for those suffering from this illness. Together we are invincible!
When my father passed away from cancer, it was like a wake-up call. Life is too short and tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans. Life is the moment we are living now, so be alive and happy at this moment because is the only thing that exists.
For many of us, running doesn’t come naturally. We got the potential to do it, but naturally we want to take it easy. We want to stay away from pain. Nobody likes discomfort, but we cannot grow without it.
Life is a high impact sport. As it is with running, so it is with life. Sometimes we got hurt, because of the road we have been on, the ups and the downs, the unexpected pitfalls. We fall, but we get up. We make mistakes, but we learn. We lose, but we move on. Our hearts get broken and we find a way to live with that. We’re basically superheroes :)
Thank you so much in advance for your caring hearts! May your life be filled with the presence of joy!
Love & peace with every step,
Camelia
